Utah Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Registration and Pre-application

Welcome to the registration and pre-application for Utah's Broadband Infrastructure grant (BIG) as part of the federal BEAD program. Registration, pre-application participation, and approval are required to be eligible to participate in the full application later. This is also an opportunity for your organization to provide input on the design of the Utah project funding areas to be bid on in the formal grant application. Please download and reference the registration and pre-application guide before submitting this application.

Only one pre-application per eligible entity type. During the full application phase you will be permitted to submit multiple applications.

Eligible Entities include: 1. Telecommunications providers or internet service providers (ISPs) 2. Cooperatives 3. Nonprofit organizations 4. Public or private utilities 5. Public utility districts 6. Public-private partnerships 7. Local government entities partnered with one or more private entities for public-private partnerships aimed at expanding affordable broadband access 8. Tribal government entities
