Opportunity Information

Title
Youth Climate Action Fund (YCAF) - Round 3
Description
The City of Boise has been awarded $50,000 through the Bloomberg Philanthropies Youth Climate Action Fund (YCAF) to support youth-led climate action projects throughout the community. This marks Boise's third year participating in the program. Over the past two funding cycles, YCAF has supported 32 youth-led projects that have made a positive impact across the city. We’re excited to support even more bold, innovative ideas from youth ages 15–24. In its third year, the Youth Climate Action Fund is focused on expanding impact through ambitious projects, creative solutions, and lasting youth leadership in Boise’s climate action efforts. Whether you’re passionate about hands-on projects, creative campaigns, or innovative approaches to climate challenges, we’re ready to partner with you to turn your ideas into meaningful action. We will accept applications and, through a review committee process, select up to 20 projects to receive microgrants. Each project must have a budget between $1,000 and $5,000, be completed by April 15, 2027, and align with one or more priority areas identified in the City of Boise Climate Action Roadmap. Applications must be submitted through Euna Grants by Friday, October 2 at 11:59pm MST. Online applications are submitted through Euna, the City’s grant management platform. Applicants under 18 must review the online account registration process, including any required terms and conditions, with a legal guardian before proceeding. If you have any questions, please reach out to climateaction@cityofboise.org. Additional information may be found at: https://www.cityofboise.org/programs/climate-action/ycaf/.
